Though reports of progressive systemic sclerosis were often presented in the foreign countries in the world, we have never seen in Korea. A case of generalized scleroderma, who is sixteen years old middle school girl, manifested with atrophy of the skins, vasospastic phenomena, arthritis, but unassociated with specific visceral involvement of esophagus,lungs, heart and kidneys. These symptoms persisted for about three years of duration. Attempt to prolonged administration of prednisone appeared somewhat improvement of her clinical course. Skin and muscle biopsies at her arm and calf were performed, andd detected diagnosis histopathologically.
